Moon Revenge
In 2014, MJ Parker (of Secret Cities) made a new life for herself. The North Dakota native and life-long Midwesterner uprooted and settled in Brooklyn, leaving behind all that was familiar -- job, career, friends -- to begin again. Over the next few years, during long subway commutes, late nights slinging drinks in an oyster bar, and early mornings at a vegan bakery, the music that she made changed. Her songs lost much of the nostalgia of earlier work, becoming strange and timeless. She leaned into her classical influences and began tackling subjects larger than wistful romance -- the power of the natural world, the dreams that came to her as she dozed off on the train returning from work late at night, the work of Japanese writer Ryūnosuke Akutagawa. With the help of her Secret Cities bandmates (Alex Abnos and Charlie Gokey), MJ again set about making something new for herself.

The result is Moon Revenge -- the name a reference both to the AIM screen name that MJ used as a teenager and to the anime music that was her first love. The music is a document of a woman shedding the familiar to find out who she is without it, where her core lies. It finds MJ blending her formative influences -- baroque classical music, anime soundtracks, and psychedelia, among others -- into a surreal and moving suite built around piano and her inimitable voice. The album represents both a culmination of the journey MJ began in 2014 and the beginning of its next, wildly promising chapter.
Phantom Wave - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Phantom Wave
Noisy rock band from NYC. Taking influence from 90s alternative rock, shoegaze and metal, Phantom Wave formed in 2017 and wants everything to be louder.
Echo Moth - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Echo Moth
Echo Moth is the project of NYC based singer/songwriter and guitarist Yana Davydova with Dmitry Ishenko on bass and synths
and Charles Burst on drums/sound engineering.

Songs are influenced by Victorian and Surrealist poetry with the music incorporating guitar and bass loops along with elements of noise and prog.

Echo Moth's debut LP "Murmurs" is available on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify and CD Baby. They are in the process of recording their second album.
Cool Ruins - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Cool Ruins
Between order and chaos lies Cool Ruins. Rising from the ashes of Southern California band Tropical Depression, the enigmatic Seattle producer and vocalist returns with “Truth = Love” a 4 song EP two years in the making. The follow up to the Cool Ruins EP (2015) “Truth = Love” (available Feb 2018) is a concise journey to the heart of existence through 4 distinct tracks. Tying the wide range of dynamic electronics together are vocals with an emotional heft that is seldom heard in the digital age. Bringing to mind the likes of Moderat and Thom Yorke, these sweeping, off-kilter compositions will allow you to step outside of yourself. If only for a moment
Pete RG - (Set time: 7:00 PM)
Pete RG
“Speckled with hints of Neil Diamond, Leonard Cohen and Matt Berninger, RG is blessed to have a voice so unique, so enchanting and so captivating. It is that voice and its intrinsic charisma that will carry RG forward in the months and years to come.” - Absolute Punk

"The warmth of a troubadour brought up on the traveling spirit songs of The Boss, and other canonical idols brings about a spark that rests in a kind of a warm subtle glow with a brightness to entrance the glass windows of a lantern."
-Impose Magazine

Pete RG’s rich baritone voice is at the center of his distinct sound, one that has reached fruition on his debut full-length, Tender Souls, released on September 23rd. To accompany the announcement, RG shares the earnest title track.

"As a songwriter, I’m always trying to express myself as best I can, lyrically and musically," RG says. "On Tender Souls I feel I was able to do that without cutting corners or falling back into ambiguity. It’s a really good picture of where I’m at, with a lot of experience under my belt but also a lot of optimism."

Born in Los Angeles to Greek immigrants, Pete RG (nee, Peter Argyropoulos) grew up in a musical household. As working musicians, his parents inspired him to learn a variety of instruments and start playing band gigs while in college. Beginning in 1998 and up into 2007, he was the principal songwriter and lead singer with the popular indie band, Last December.

During that time he also laid the foundation for his solo career, with years of live shows that most recently included a 50+ show 2016-17 US tour with Candlebox. In its review of one club date, Pancakes And Whiskey pretty much summarized all that RG offers to his audiences: "high quality rock with honest and engaging lyrics, a hammering backbeat plus gorgeous harmonies."
